By Train: Even though Rishikesh does have its own railway station, it is not connected to major Indian cities other than Haridwar. Therefore, the nearest major railhead is in Haridwar. Haridwar railway station is well-connected with many cities across India via an extensive network of trains.

By Road: Buses for Rishikesh are available from New Delhi’s ISBT Kashmiri Gate. You may also drive down to Rishikesh via NH 58 from Delhi and other cities.
