Experience The Best Of Manali

Your itinerary for a Manali tour should include the following attractions.

Rohtang Pass:

Kullu Manali tourism is arguably best known for the Rohtang Pass, which serves as the gateway to the Lahaul and Spiti valleys. At an elevation of 13,054 ft, this pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. A visit to the Rohtang Pass would allow you to witness memorable, breathtaking views of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. You may also get to see the twin peaks of Geypan from Rohtang. This pass is on the watershed between the water basins of the Chenab River and the Beas River.

Himalaya Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple:

Manali tourism in India would seem incomplete without a trip to the Himalaya Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple. It is among the most well-known Buddhist Gompas in northern India. Himalaya Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple was built in 1957 and has a pagoda-style design. It features a two-storey statue of Gautam Buddha. It is a great place to learn about Tibetan culture, and admire Tibetan artwork. The architecture of this monastery features an amalgamation of traditional Tibetan style and Himalayan influences.

Solang Village:

A trip to the charming Solang village is a part of most Manali tourism packages. Lying at an altitude of 8500 ft, it provides panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and glaciers. With lush green trees scattered across the snowy white landscape, along with bright blue skies, and stunning mountains, Solang Valley looks splendid during the winter months. Solang Valley is also one of the finest destinations to try out paragliding, mountain biking, trekking and hiking in India.

Atal Tunnel:

It is an exceptional engineering marvel that stretches 9.02 kilometres through the Himalayan mountains. This tunnel provides incredible views of the surrounding peaks, and also serves as a safe and efficient alternative to the traditional Rohtang Pass route.

Hidimba Devi Temple:

This is a unique temple surrounded by charming cedar forests. It is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of goddess Hidimba herself. Having a blend of history, mythology, and cultural significance, it is a must-visit part of Manali city tourism. As opposed to most other Hindu temples, Hidimba Temple has a distinctive pagoda-style roof, alongside intricate wooden carvings that adorn its exteriors. The temple is a four-tiered structure that is built from stone and timber.
