Hampi:

 Once upon a time the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, today Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist site due to intriguing ruins of forts and temples.  It attracts people from near and far with the architecture and workmanship of its sculptures and monuments. The Virupaksha Temple, an important part of Hampi, is known to be the oldest functioning temple in the country. You can find 7th-century stone inscriptions on the walls of this temple that depict the rich heritage of the Vijayanagara Empire. The Lotus Palace is another remarkable place in Hampi. This structure looks like a lotus in shape. The famous stone chariot of Hampi can be found inside the compound of the Vithala Temple. The carvings on the walls and pillars of the temple represent different gods in varied forms.

Badami cave temples:

The Badami cave temples are quite important to Karnataka state tourism. Badami was once the capital of the Chalukya dynasty and showcases an excellent example of Indian rock-cut architecture. There are four cave temple complexes at Badami carved out of sandstone cliffs. These temples were built sometime in the 6th to 8th centuries, and are dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Jain Tirthankaras. The Badami Caves largely feature Indian and South Indian architectural styles, while its temples are built in the Dravidian and North Indian Nagara styles.

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary:

Karnataka state tourism packages often include a trip to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. This wildlife sanctuary is home to elephants, tigers, deer, reptiles, antipoles and birds. It is a three-storied structure built in Indo-Saracenic style. The Mysore palace has stunningly designed square towers at cardinal points that are covered with domes. Its Durbar Hall features an ornate ceiling and sculpted pillars, while the Kalyanamantapa charms visitors with its stained glass and glazed tiled flooring. At the Mysore Palace, you will find intricately carved doors, intriguing paints, a jewel-encrusted golden throne and more. 

The Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum:

The Raja's Seat:
