Best Time to Visit Dehradun

Tourism in Dehradun peaks in the summers from April to June and slows down in monsoon to again crest post-monsoon and in the winter.

While the spring and early summers in Dehradun are pleasantly warm with clear and sunny skies, perfect for paragliding and other adventurous activities, winters are marked with mist, fog and occasional snow. Perfect for honeymooners and those wanting to have a taste of winters in the Garhwal Himalayan region without committing to the freezing temperatures.

If you are one for colours and festivities, you can plan a tour and book your Dehradun tourism packages for the Magh Mela celebrated in January, the Jhanda Mela in March and the Tapkeshwar Mela held every year during Shivatri.
